We play hard and sleep hard too.
Our favorite time of the day (besides mealtime) is playtime, it can be a spontaneous pick up game of fetch or ball, or it can be during our 3x a day planned (weather permitting) playtime social hour.
Playtime:
-Playing fetch.
-Playing a friendly game of wrestling.
-Lounging around in the shade.
-Sitting out at dawn or dusk.
-Playing frisbee.
-Playing with our dog safe toys.
-Playing tug of war.
-Chasing one another.
-Chasing squirrels.
-Jumping, swimming, wading in the lake.
-Playing scavenger hunt with our doggie treats (Tati hides them from us and we have to sniff them out and find them. The hounds usually win). :-)
-Playing with our Kong.
-Romping around.
During Warm Weather
-Doggie pool time in our kiddie pool.
-Cooling off under our misting station.
-Jumping, swimming, cooling off in the lake.
-Playing with the water hose.
-Playing in the splash pad.
Good Reward Program:
Dogs who are well behaved will be rewarded with:
Extra playtime and time in the big yard.
All of the pets receive many, many
belly rubs, pats on the head, hugs, love & praise through out the day.
All of the bunks in our Lounges have doggie doors that stay open from early morning to late evening so the doggies can freely go from their quarters to our secure dog runs. The Lounges are secured at night.
